ouch! right in the childhood!

A book of poems by Mychal Sanders written over the course of her life. Beginning with themes of love, friendship, magic (especially while playing Dungeons & Dragons), we then take a trip to the past with ruminations on having cancer and poems written when she was under the age of 18 (much like her first selfies shown on the covers here, which she took around age 11). The poems are heartbreaking, funny, weird, confusing, and pretty much all the things poems are supposed to be. Don’t think about them too hard. If you think a poem is about you, it’s probably not. It’s not THAT serious.
